MindHaven
Project: User-Centered Design Process
For this Project, I created MindHaven to offer accessible, flexible mental health support for those who find traditional therapy expensive or intimidating. With features like mood tracking, self-compassion exercises, and virtual support groups, the app helps users build resilience, manage anxiety, and develop healthier habits on their own.
The Problem
Mental health care is often expensive, intimidating, and hard to access.
Busy lifestyles leave little time for emotional well-being.
Few tools offer flexible, personalized support for managing mental health.
The Soultion
Offer affordable, user-friendly mental health tools.
Make mental health care approachable through gentle, personalized features.
Empower users to manage their mental health on their own schedule.

Color
Calming colors like light yellow and tan create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels safe and supportive. They help reduce visual stress and make the experience feel gentle and approachable. This aligns with MindHaven’s goal of making mental health care feel less intimidating and more nurturing.

Tyopgraphy
I chose these fonts to create a balance of clarity and warmth in my design. Myriad Bold and SemiBold offer a clean, modern feel that’s easy to read and approachable. For subheadings, I used March to add a bit of personality and softness that complements the calming tone of the brand. Together, they help communicate trust, comfort, and accessibility.
